TS-400 is an extreme temperature grease engineered for service from -20 degrees F (-29 degrees C) to +600 degrees F (+316 degrees C). It provides a continuous film and low coefficient of friction through the entire temperature range. Performs well under heavy loads and shock loading.

Application

TS-400 is a unique extreme pressure grease engineered for use at temperatures well above the upper range of most other synthetic high temperature greases. This new generation grease offers both equipment manufacturers and users a lubricant for bearings or valves operating at constant temperatures in the range of five hundred eight-five to six-hundred degrees Fahrenheit.  It provides a long lasting and stable lubricating film under heavy loads and in the most demanding extreme temperature applications.

The base fluid is a high molecular weight synthetic ester. This oil is completely saturated. There are no sites in its molecular structure at which oxidation might readily occur. Weight loss in air mostly occurs above 350°C. This oxidative stability is further enhanced by a proven synergistic blend of antioxidants. There are no other additives present which might cause a “weak link” in the thermal or oxidative stability of the product.

The thickener for this grease is a fluoropolymer resin. This thickening system is essentially inert and is thermally stable at temperatures above 350°C. The grease also contains ten percent by weight molybdenum disulfide (MoS2).
